Pupil Voice Project

Miss Russell and I had the privilege of taking 5 of our children out for the morning to a project run by Essex County Council. The children took part in a workshop with 12 other schools. The aim of the workshop was to help inform and influence future policy and support in schools across Essex.

Our children represented Kelvedon St. Mary's Academy and did us proud! Their ideas were fantastic! We will now be taking part in a 5 session project, to develop the ideas with the children further.  We were one of 3 schools in our quadrant that were selected, what an achievement!

Our group worked together to build our manifesto. They used their ideas and made a poster to represent them visually,

Finley presented Kelvedon's 'manifesto' in front of  120 people. He was great!
Afterwards, we had a picnic lunch to celebrate a fun morning!
