Pupil Voice Project - Part 2

As the next part of the Pupil Voice Project, children from Kelvedon St. Mary's were invited to an ideas workshop. Here we developed ideas that could help children with additional needs in school to learn. Some of our ideas focused on our own difficulties, some were based on 'characters'.

Miss Russell and I were very proud of the children as their ideas were thoughtful, mature and interesting. What great ambassadors!

We worked in teams to create characters - each character was of school age and had something they found difficult at school.

We later went on to develop our ideas; we made story boards which explained how they worked. Finally we presented our story boards to the group. We did this independently, each speaking one by one. Everyone was really impressed with what we had thought of!

We would like to give a special thanks to the staff and pupils at Columbus School, Chelmsford, for hosting the day and making us feel so welcome.

We ended the morning with lunch outside in the sunshine.
