The Brain Tumour Charity - working with others

It is not often that I get the opportunity to share with you about meetings that I have at school however last week I had the pleasure of meeting two representatives from The Brain Tumour Charity. The organisation are developing a school and parent information pack for families who have been affected by a brain tumour. The work that the charity does is amazing. The support, encouragement and advice that they offer families in their darkest hour is truly fantastic.

At Kelvedon we are very privileged to be able to work with such organisations; we are helping to shape future support. As a team we spent several hours talking through support networks, systems, school policy, lesson plan ideas, staff training and parent support activities - all of which will help form the new information pack.

I will keep you updated on the progress of this project. In the meantime if you would like to learn more about the wonderful work the charity does, or learn more about the families they support (and why they support them) then please follow this link to their website.
