Aim: To develop lead autism practitioner roles in mainstream schools with continuing professional development. Autism practitioners have the opportunity to receive focused training linked to the Autism Education Trust (AET) Autism Competency Framework, share resources and strategies and support each other through informal case discussions. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Focus of this session: Zones of Regulation
Resources to bring: We will be referring to the Autism Education Trust School’s Autism Competency Framework which can be accessed for free via this web address: www.aettraininghubs.org.uk/schools/competency-framework/. Please print off a copy and bring it with you to the session.
How to book: There is no cost to attend the group. Places are limited on a first come first served basis (a maximum of two LSAs / TAs from each school). Angela Purdy, Caroline O’Reilly (Specialist Teachers, ASC) and Emma Mitchell (Autism Support Worker) will be running this session.
